Thanks to the hard work of Judi Shellabarger and the Cooper Young Garden Club–our beautiful, tree-lined neighborhood is recognized as a Level 3 Certified Arboretum. This means over 110 different tree varieties are identified and labeled in front gardens all over Cooper Young. This is a wonderful accomplishment usually reserved for school or business gardens. So many neighbors and volunteers came together to make this happen. Thanks to Judi Shellabarger, Arboretum Chair, Cooper Young residents and garden club members, Urban Forestry Council, Wes Hopper, and many more.
