Dear Cooper-Young Resident,
Hello and THANK Y’ALL so much for hosting your garden on the 5th Annual 2020 Cooper-Young Garden Walk! By hosting your garden, you and your loved ones are helping to make the Cooper-Young neighborhood a more beautiful, sustainable place while showcasing your amazing gardening skills and other things related to “Memphis culture.”
Not sure if your current home is “up-to-par” to becoming a part of the walk? Don’t worry about that! Whether you’re a novice botanist who loves to plant rosemary and bonsai trees on the side or a professional metal sculptor who loves to craft anything out of recycled scrap metal, all skills and talents related to gardening and Memphis Southern hospitality are welcome. A great Memphis garden is a well-loved Memphis garden!
Our garden walk visitors range from novice gardeners to master gardeners. They are looking for beautiful, unique spaces to draw inspiration and education. As long as your garden has been taken care of with a little TLC and of course, some good ole fashioned Memphis green(s) and other colorful plants and gardening features, we want you to be a part of our annual walk. It’s a great motivator to get all your garden projects done…..now! Whew, won’t that be lovely? All that YOU need to do is…
