It showcases our Garden Club’s projects and highlights the annual Cooper-Young Garden Walk, the largest garden walk in Memphis, TN. (zone 7b).

Past Treasurer and Board Member of the Maplewood NJ Garden Club, estab.1923, with 170+membership. Annual budget $80,000+, sponsoring horticultural scholarships to Rutgers University, garden beautification projects around the town, and significant donations to the local public library.

 Currently writes a monthly garden advisory column in the Lamplighter on behalf of the Club and serves as the co-chair of the Club’s annual Garden Walk event held in May each year.

Educated in Economics at the University of Minnesota, University of Michigan, and Edinburgh University, Scotland.

I’m a retired Speech Pathologist/Special Education teacher from DeSoto County with 37 yrs. experience. I’m the current President of the West Tennessee Chapter of the Tennessee Urban Forestry Council, an Urban Forestry Advisor with the Tennessee Urban Forestry Council, a member of the Memphis Botanic Garden Tree Team, a member of the Dixon Gallery and Gardens Tree Team, and former Master Gardener. 
Judi is co-chairman of the Cooper-Young Historic District Arboretum and Chairman of the Cooper-Young Garden Club’s Adopt-a-Park, the Spanish American War Park.
