SHADY RETREAT
After 32 years, my garden is still a work in progress. With seven 40-50 year old oak and pecan trees, it is primarily a shade garden. I started gardening seriously about 15 years old and the “lawn” of mowed weeds keeps shrinking as the flowerbeds grow to accommodate maturing plants. My husband and I have done the stone and brickwork ourselves and the front terrace is still waiting to be filled with plants.
