There are so many Garden Blogs out there…..my garden feedly numbers are close to 100, but there are some I must read regularly.

  • Art of Gardening- This is what started our own Garden Walk. Jim Charlier focuses on the Buffalo Garden Walk and all the great gardens he travels to.
  • Bloomtown-  Darcy Daniels creates amazing plant combinations and then gives you the recipe so you can recreate them yourself.
  • Clay and Limestone- TN garden blogger, Gail Eichelberger
  • Danger Garden- Inspiring, edgy gardens
  • Digging- Beautiful gardens In Austin and beyond
  • Dirt Simple- I learned so much studying Deborah Silver’s photos while reading all the posts under Garden Design
  • Down2Earth Landscape Designs – Love reading Joanne Shaw’s thought process for designing thoughtful, small urban gardens, helpful plans + photos.
  • Fine Foliage- Beautiful container + plant combinations that beg to be replicated
  • Form and Foliage-   Design focused with gorgeous pictures
  • Garden Designs Magazine – Fabulous articles, videos, and garden eye candy to inspire!
  • The Gateway Gardener – Extensive, informative blog out of St. Louis.
  • Julie Moir Messervy – Her books, “Outside the Not S Big House” and “Home Outside” really break down garden design principles for the novice quite nicely.
  • Lush Gardens– A garden design blog in story form, very enjoyable to read!
  • Not Another Gardening Blog- This blog covers it all: detailed explanations and pictures of design for the novice
  • Paper Garden Workshop- Lisa Orgler, a Landscape Designer, who makes garden design accessible to everyone. Love the graphics.
  • Plants Plus People-Memphis Blog, Chris Cosby, horticulturist and Native Plant Expert
  • Tara Dillard- Sweet and succinct
  • Thomas Rainer-Grounded Design -How to marry Native Plants with Great Design
